Amy Miley Acupuncture Physician and Board Certified Herbalist
I became an Acupuncturist because I was frustrated.
I was frustrated with the health "care" I had received. It felt like I was being pushed through a system that had no time or answers for me. My body was attacking itself, but none of my doctors could explain why or help me understand what I could do to take charge of my health. Prescription drugs and tests were all they could do for me. I was stuck in a loop of doctor's appointments, tests, and expensive drugs that had bad side effects. It felt like I was going crazy when my doctors dismissed my symptoms or ignored my concerns altogether.
There had to be a better way to get the care I deserved.
My experience with the "healthcare system" lead me to research more alternative ways of healing. Once I started to incorporate holistic approaches like Acupuncture & herbal medicine, I realized my body was healing itself. The symptoms which had previously ruled my daily activities were now barely noticeable. I was being listened to by my providers, and I was learning to understand how to listen to my own body.
Through Chinese Medicine, I found the answers I needed.
That is why I became a Chinese Medical practitioner. I wanted to share this amazing medicine that treats the root cause of the disease and not just the symptoms. A medicine that treats you as a whole person, not just a group of "complaints."
It is my goal to provide you with the compassionate care you deserve. Your time is now.
My husband and I are both Colorado natives who love playing outside. We are raising our daughters, Nova & Juniper to be stewards of the mountains they live in. Our dream is to complete our small cabin in Idaho Springs and live sustainably and "off the grid." I am a competitive powerlifter and Strong Woman, so I will gladly nerd out about all things weightlifting-related.
Amy Miley, Founder of Clear Creek Wellness Co & Acupuncture Physician.
I am a nationally board-certified Acupuncture Physician and Herbalist with close to 12 years in the integrative health field.
My practice is patient-centered, meaning, I do not rely on expensive lab tests or confusing medical terminology. I believe you when you tell me how you're feeling and we build a treatment plan around what you can commit to.
I have post-graduate studies and specialize in Obstetric Acupuncture. This matters because I can safely treat many of the common ailments in pregnancy. I aim to provide a safe and nurturing space for all pregnant people and their families. I love birth work and accept a few doula clients every year.
In May of 2019, I spent time providing Acupuncture and herbal medicine to the rural communities of Guatemala, as a volunteer with Global HealthWorks Foundation.
